DMCA Policy

1. How Reddvu Works

Reddvu is a media viewer, not a content host. All images, videos, and GIFs displayed on Reddvu are loaded directly from their original sources — primarily Reddit, Imgur, and Redgifs. We do not store, re-host, or cache user-generated content on our servers. Reddvu functions as an interface that aggregates and presents publicly available media from these third-party platforms.

2. If Your Content Appears on Reddvu

Because Reddvu sources content from Reddit and other platforms, the most effective way to remove content is to file a takedown request directly with the platform hosting the original content. Once the content is removed at its source, it will automatically cease to appear on Reddvu.

For content hosted on Imgur or Redgifs, please contact those platforms directly through their respective DMCA or takedown processes.

3. Filing a DMCA Notice with Reddvu

If you still wish to notify Reddvu directly, you may submit a valid DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent. A valid DMCA notice must include all of the following:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work — A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved.
2. Identification of the infringing material — The specific URL(s) or description of the material on Reddvu that you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it.
3. Your contact information — Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
4. Good-faith statement — A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. Statement of accuracy — A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
6. Your signature — A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized representative.

4. Designated Agent

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability for damages.

5. Counter-Notification

If you believe that content was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated agent. A valid counter-notification must include:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which Reddvu may be found).
5. A statement that you consent to service of process from the party that filed the original DMCA notice.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10 business days, we may restore the removed material.

6. Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, Reddvu has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to the Service or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe the intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
